Marg Domagalski

Meet Marg Domagalski, our most recent Community Cornerstone Award winner! Marg is the president of Niagara Heritage of Hope and Service, Inc., a 100% volunteer-based group based in Niagara Falls. Through her work, Marg has shown incredible dedication and passion, transforming and preserving the former Holy Trinity Church in Niagara Falls into the Niagara Heritage of Hope and Service, Inc.

The Historic Holy Trinity church was built in the early 1900s, and Marg has been instrumental in maintaining the complex’s rich Polish heritage while simultaneously creating a welcoming space for the entire community. Marg’s efforts extend beyond cultural preservation as she has shown a deep commitment to the underprivileged in her community. In 2011, she helped open a Community Thrift Store on-site, providing a valuable resource by offering affordable necessities to those in need. Her vision also led to the conversion of the rectory into a business center and the convent into a retreat center, further expanding the services available to the community.

The Niagara Heritage of Hope and Service, Inc. is essential in preserving the cultural heritage of the Polish community while providing essential services to those in need. The organization offers a variety of programs, including educational lectures, cultural events, and support services for underprivileged individuals and families. By fostering a sense of community and providing valuable resources, the organization ensures that the rich history and traditions of the area are passed on to future generations.

Marg’s continuous efforts to improve and preserve the historic complex, along with her unwavering commitment to her community, truly make her a Community Cornerstone. We are proud to celebrate her remarkable achievements and contributions!
